Lola is an action-packed mystery set in dystopian North America, in the year 3520. This sci-fi adventure begins when recovering alcoholic Lola Quinn and her little brother Jax find out that their father has gone missing - and he just might be a murderer. Lola has no choice but to return to the Central Hub where she can properly investigate the cryptic messages left behind by her father, only to be saddled with a new partner in the flamboyantly inexperienced Jess Kilgariff. When her brother is kidnapped and chaos begins to reign all around her, Lola must face her deepest fears and expose her darkest shame in order to overcome the obstacles that stand in her way. In the end, she is faced with a choice as to what is more important; trying to repair the shattered pieces of her past, or holding out for a better future?

LOCATIONS

Central City, 3520

A series of devastating earthquakes caused the majority of the United States, and the rest of the world, to be completely submerged in water. Somehow, the state of Michigan's lower peninsula was one of few masses of land to survive, and the smattering of people who survived found solace there, rebuilding the world from the ground up. Centuries later, when Central City has become one of very few booming meccas, our story begins...

NORTH
SIDE

The Quinn Family Home     Just another old over-repaired Dutch Colonial home in the tightly packed suburbia that is Northside.
Halbertson's Pawn Shop     A dusty little matchbox of a pawn shop on the outside, a huge mechanical tech-nerd's dream on the inside.

North Side Primary School     All residents of Central City start here, from Preschool to Grade Six.

CENTRAL
CITY

Central Center     The bustling center of civilization, where businesses, shopping centers, schools, etc. reside, as well as...
The Central Hub     A towering glass and steel structure inside which all police, law, and government activity takes place.

Heartside High     The biggest high school and closest to Central City, therefore the safest. Rich, upper-class students go here.

Artside Commons    An indoor/outdoor market with food trucks, product booths, street music, etc. A street fair every day.
Artside University     A sprawling college campus covers the eastern portion of the city, reserved only for top students.

Southside Promenade     A mega mall, arcade, and amusement park with restaurants, and the Southside Library.
Southside Secondary School     The "lower-class" high school, Grades 7-12.

THE BEYOND

The Beyond     Outside the perimeter of the outskirts of the city, wildlife grows untamed, and animals are sick and rabid, for miles.
City 86     A fairly vast shanty town outside the boundaries of The Beyond, completely unknown to most; some think it's a myth.
The Quakelands     A seemingly endless, and perilous, stretch of broken, rumbling earth caused by the past earthquakes & aftershock.
