Lola is an action-packed mystery set in dystopian North America, in the year 3520. This sci-fi adventure begins when recovering alcoholic Lola Quinn and her little brother Jax find out that their father has gone missing - and he just might be a murderer. Lola has no choice but to return to the Central Hub where she can properly investigate the cryptic messages left behind by her father, only to be saddled with a new partner in the flamboyantly inexperienced Jess Kilgariff. When her brother is kidnapped and chaos begins to reign all around her, Lola must face her deepest fears and expose her darkest shame in order to overcome the obstacles that stand in her way. In the end, she is faced with a choice as to what is more important; trying to repair the shattered pieces of her past, or holding out for a better future?

Centuries later, when Central City has become one of very few booming meccas, our story begins...
